Good afternoon,
Please have a safe and warm weekend. Take in some of the Remembrance Day activities around the city tomorrow. It is important to stop and remember at 11am tomorrow.
In PE this morning, the students played their last of floor hockey. They had a blast playing each other. They were all very fair and played with great sportsmanship.
We finished writing our Beginnings to our Flaws to Traits Stories. We also finished planning the middle portion of our stories and now we will have the chance to write out a draft of our writing.
This morning we had our Remembrance Day assembly and learned why we wear a poppy and then showed respect for the moment of silence.
In Math, we did some quick basic fact assessments to see where the students are at with their multiplication and division. It is important to keep practicing these facts at home so your child can use them at school during many different concepts.
The students continued to work on their Thirst assignments.
In Makerspace, the students had the task to create a fort that they would build out of snow if they could!
In Science, we watched Bill Nye the Science Guy's video on food webs.
Have a safe weekend!
Miss. Hillier
